Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
Our Story
God Often Builds a Ministry from What He First Builds in a Heart.
The Broken Strong did not begin with the goal of creating a ministry. It began with God doing a work in my own life.
Like many people, I have experienced seasons of failure, disappointment, spiritual struggle, and the painful realization that my own strength would never be enough. Through those seasons, God patiently pursued me, corrected me, restored me, and taught me that lasting hope is never found in ourselves, it is found in Jesus Christ.
As He continued to shape my life through His Word and His grace, He also began to place a burden on my heart for others. Over the years, I met countless people who sincerely loved God yet quietly carried fear, shame, regret, broken relationships, disappointment, and uncertainty about the future. Many wanted to move forward but didn't know where to begin. Others felt alone in battles no one else could see, and yes, there were many who had lost faith in Christ or simply had no faith to begin with.
The more I listened, the more one truth became clear: people don't simply need encouragement. They need biblical discipleship that helps them rebuild their faith, develop spiritual strength, and discover God's purpose for their lives. That burden became The Broken Strong.
From the beginning, this ministry has never been about offering quick answers or temporary inspiration. It exists to point people to Jesus Christ and to provide practical, biblical resources that help believers take their next step of faith. Every devotional, Bible study, book, article, blog, and discipleship resource we create is built upon that commitment.
We believe brokenness is never the end of the story when Christ is in the story.
-
We believe faith can be rebuilt.
-
We believe strength can be developed.
-
We believe purpose can be rediscovered.
Most of all, we believe God is still changing lives through the truth of His Word.
The Broken Strong exists to walk alongside people on that journey, helping them rebuild their faith, strengthen their lives, and discover God's purpose through Jesus Christ. Wherever you may be today, our prayer is that these resources will encourage you, challenge you, and remind you that God is faithful to continue the work He has begun.
Because your story is still being written, and by God's grace, the best chapters are still ahead.
Our Mission
The mission of The Broken Strong is to walk with people through the process of restoration, creating structured biblical pathways that lead from brokenness to lasting strength in Christ.
We exist because too many people suffer in silence. People who love God deeply still struggle with shame. People who serve faithfully still wrestle with fear. People who appear strong publicly feel fractured privately. Far too often, they are told to "get over it" instead of being helped through it.
We believe brokenness before God is not disqualification, but that it is often the very soil where real strength begins to grow. Through devotionals, Bible studies, and discipleship resources, we help people tell the truth about where they are, take responsibility without shame, rebuild discipline through Scripture, and stay connected to community so that growth is sustained, not temporary.
Our mission is fulfilled when people move from silent struggle to forward movement becoming grounded, faithful, and dependable in real life. Not through hype or pressure, but through truth, consistency, and the power of Jesus Christ.
Our Values
Christ Is Our Strength True transformation begins when we reach the end of ourselves and discover the strength of Christ. We do not place our confidence in self-reliance, performance, or programs. We place it in Him.
Truth Before Transformation Real change begins with honesty. We encourage people to confront reality, acknowledge brokenness, and bring struggles into the light. We cannot change what we refuse to face.
Responsibility Without Shame We believe people must take ownership of their lives, choices, and growth — but we reject condemnation and shame-based motivation. Accountability paired with grace creates lasting change.
Identity Rooted in Christ We are not defined by failure, wounds, labels, or accomplishments. Our identity is found in Christ and in what God declares to be true — not in our circumstances.
Rebuilding Is a Process We reject quick-fix solutions and false promises. Strength is developed through surrender, obedience, perseverance, and faithful daily growth — one step at a time.
Community Matters People were never intended to walk alone. Healthy community provides encouragement, accountability, and perspective throughout the rebuilding journey. Isolation deepens brokenness. Community strengthens rebuilding.
Faithfulness Over Visibility We value integrity more than influence, depth more than popularity, and long-term impact more than short-term attention. We seek God's approval before public approval.
